Closing out 2020 - Fireside Chat between Judy Wade & Raelan Lambert

Join WAVE's West Coast Chapter on December 16 for a virtual Fireside Chat with Judy Wade of CPPIB-America, moderated by Raelan Lambert, Global Alternatives Leader with Mercer. The event is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm Pacific Time; 3:00 pm Eastern Time.

The discussion with Judy and Raelan will be followed by Q&A from the audience and then an interactive networking session. Participants interested in meeting virtually with other attendees will be shuffled into break-out rooms for two 15-minute sessions.

About our Speakers:

Judy Wade, Managing Director, Head of San Francisco, CPPIB-America
Judy heads the San Francisco Office and oversees the Bay Area growth strategy. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2020, Judy led McKinsey & Company's practice serving startups and their investors. She also spent 10 years as a CEO or Senior Executive in various startups in gaming, digital health and big data. She started her career at McKinsey focused on education and technology. 

Judy holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School and a BA in Economics from University of California, Berkeley. Judy is co-Chair of the Board of UC Berkeley's College of Letters & Science.

Raelan Lambert, Global Alternatives Leader, Mercer 

Based in Sacramento, CA, Raelan Lambert is Mercer's Global Alternatives Leader. She joined Pavilion Alternatives in 2005, which was acquired by Mercer in 2018 and has been in the financial services industry since 1998. Ms. Lambert oversees Mercer's Alternatives business, which has $172bn of assets under advisement, more than $21bn under management, and encompasses strategic research, trusted advice and implemented advisory solutions for institutional investors globally. Ms. Lambert was previously based in NYC, where she worked at Google predecessor DoubleClick focusing on financial institutions, American Express' strategic technology advisory group working with its C-level executives and top technology partners, and Goldman Sachs in the finance and wealth management divisions, including assignments in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Ms. Lambert was recognized as CIO's Knowledge Broker's New Guard in 2019. She received a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Virginia with honors.
