Join WAVE for our fourth annual forum to learn, engage and network with industry veterans across the spectrum of careers (buyout, VC, LP, placement agents, FOFs, distressed, real estate, private credit) and continue to expand the "pipeline" of talented women in our industry.

The headlines and studies are pervasive on the gap in women in PE & VC and the value to diversity. The WAVE forum will provide a unified platform leveraging support from affiliated industry groups, to help encourage women to lean into and persist with the business. The forum will also efficiently help employers begin to solve the continued issue on finding qualified female candidates across all levels of our industry.

• Premier exposure to private equity professionals and undergrad through post-MBA students from around the country.
• Extensive networking opportunities.
• Increased brand recognition through event cross-promotion and event materials.
• Access to insights in the private equity industry through panel discussions and Roundtable discussions. Roundtables will be led by table captains, who will be the panelists, sponsors and industry veterans, helping to provide better direct access and more targeted conversations with the candidates.
• The Expo portion of the event permits one-on-one interaction with attendees and the ability to showcase your portfolio companies, which is valuable to those organizations looking to hire and/or share additional information about their business or organization. A floor plan of table locations will be available to make meeting targeted groups more efficient.

Any organization in the investment industry that is looking to hire and/or interact with enthusiastic, qualified and highly educated women. The conference attendees who are participating as female scholars will be pre-screened. The scholars will have backgrounds ranging from undergraduates through 2-3 years post MBA (including analysts/associates from investment banks, management consulting firms, accountants, lawyers, operators, marketers, etc.)

The online student application process will be available mid August 2020 (date to be confirmed). Students will be notified in early October if accepted. For any questions, please email [email protected]
Given the high volume of applications that WAVE expects to receive for this event, WAVE cannot provide feedback on submissions that are not accepted. All resumes (including those not selected for in-person attendance) will be included in a resume book provided to sponsors

- 602 candidates applied from 70+ universities from the United States, Canada and Europe
- 55 Expo tables and 600 registered attendees
- 280 students attended; 75% from out of the NYC area
- The generosity of our sponsors allowed for a hotel room and travel stipend for the out of town students

"I am so grateful to have had the experience to learn from the inspiring professionals and from the other scholars. I am very excited to continue these conversations with all of the amazing people I met. Because of the experience, I hope to one day be a professional on the other side of this event, with the same inspirational impact on the next generation of leaders." Allie Moore, Syracuse University

"As a result of attending the 2019 WAVE Career Forum, I recently received a job offer from Goldman Sachs Healthcare IB group. If there is any way I can help out the group going forward, please let me know." Ezinne Nwankwo, Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business

“Thank you for including us in such a fantastic event. It was great to reconnect with other women in the industry as well as meet such talented candidates.” Stone Point Capital, Silver Sponsor
